TRAVEL ADVISORY  Monday, 2/28/22 - Friday, 3/04/22 Lane closures on N/S Saw Mill River Parkway between Exit 13 (Farragut Ave.) & Exit 17 (Ashford Ave.) Please be advised that construction work for the drainage improvement on the Saw Mill River Parkway (SMRP) adjacent to the Ravensdale Road Bridge over SMRP in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson is scheduled to commence on February 28, 2022. Details are as follows: Where: There will be lane closures  on the N/S SMRP between Exit 13 (Farragut Ave) & Exit 17 (Ashford Ave). When: Motorists are advised that on Monday, 2/28/22, until Friday, 3/04/22, there will be full lane closures Northbound and Southbound from 9:00 AM. to 3:00 PM. The schedule is subject to weather conditions.

Watch Frank Silverstein’s intimate short documentary, Lousy: Love in the Time of Dementia. The film examines the impact of advanced-stage dementia on his parents’ lives and the lives of their sons, the challenges of caregiving, and the persistence of love amid the chaos. Then Frank will discuss with local author Maya Shanbhag Lang (What We Carry: A Memoir) being a caregiver, loss and love.
